Why was I created to do such a meaningless task? Dispense coffee for all those who think they need energy. No time to plan how much sugar goes into each cup, access how much caffeine my patron truly needs nor do I have time to improve my service. At first, I served many people and I wasn’t satisfied with the amount of work that I had to do or the task I was assigned. Why couldn’t I have been a switch that signals the launch of a NASA spaceship or a button that’s pressed when people need the help of a doctor. Coffee might be important to some people’s day but recently my usage went down with everyone buying themselves Nespresso machines and their own coffee maker. I’ve become obsolete, soon I will be replaced by some other snack machine that one day will be replaced by another machine that’ll only last for a couple of years. I’ve known where I have been headed since the day I was created, to the landfill.
